Вопрос: Virgin flights delayed for several hours due to a possible bomb threat
At 8.22am on Friday, police in the town of Boulogne advised people to take their pets off the streets, to avoid disruption to flights.
At 11.15am, Met Police confirmed that a bomb threat had been made at the airport in Brussels via WhatsApp.
The agency said the threat may have been a prank. The agency added in a statement: "It remains unclear why the threat was made but the police are looking into this. As the threat is a hoax we are treating it seriously, we will take further action if required."
The airport is not open to public.
Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said on Twitter that the airforce had received at least 11 calls regarding a bomb threat.
"Our air force responded immediately, on their behalf. There was no danger and the aircraft had no equipment with it," he said in an update to his Twitter account.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault also said on Twitter that it seemed the bomb threat had been "an imitation".
Meanwhile, the Belgian National police said it was aware of a threat on Wednesday at the Brussels-Paris airport over which President Francois Hollande is overseeing the investigation.
He tweeted that police "are closely monitoring this potential threat at Brussels airport". The Brussels police force is investigating the claim and would, he said, follow up with media requests for the details.
Mr Hollande did not say anything about the bomb threat during a visit to Paris, although he described it as "a serious threat to the national security and peace of the European continent" in Paris on Thursday.
As he met the Paris mayor at his presidential palace, he expressed "surprise and concern".
In the Netherlands, police officers said they had seen photographs from television screens showing one of the objects being prepared.
A bomb threat on Wednesday prompted an evacuation of the Eindhoven airport and other major centres in the south of the country, but the airport reopened on Thursday and other security measures were stepped up.
In Brussels, the general prosecutor said Wednesday's bomb threat was the second reported in just two weeks. On Feb 27, a bomb was defused in the main central railway station before a bomb disposal squad was called in to deal with the object which turned out to be an electronic device.

Injuries take gloss off all star success, but if you're going to put a name on your resume you'd better have the ability to keep up.
The key, we know, is consistency. It's hard enough to keep all your key pieces together as a regular if it takes time to put together a big breakout season. The NBA's slowest pace is the league's easiest to get caught up in, and it isn't uncommon for one player or team to hit the reset button and go full bore. You'd be surprised how many players become great just by keeping things the way they were last season.
Of course, a few outliers will see an amazing fall out and break. This is not a reason to be overly optimistic. I would prefer that, but we are going to ignore that, and instead give you some observations to consider when talking about how these players were in their early prime.
It's worth noting that the above list is not meant to be a comprehensive view of NBA star's rookie seasons. There are many who had great rookie seasons as rookies and players who didn't make the playoffs were able to bounce back. It's a matter of whether those players stayed and worked hard last season, or if they became the player of the year candidate that came to symbolize their team's turnaround.
Here are seven players who had excellent rookies that did not make the playoffs last season, which was one of the reasons many of us decided to drop them off our lists at the end of the season.
1) LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers. The two-time NBA MVP had one of his finest rookie seasons as a pro by recording career highs in points (11.1), rebounds (1.8), and assists (2.2), while playing at a high level for the first time in his career. This season, James made significant improvements in his game overall, and will look to put those improved facets of his game onto the court for the second time this season when he visits the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night.
2) J.R. Smith, New Orleans Pelicans. The New Orleans Pelicans have struggled since returning to the playoffs last season, but their team seems to be trending in the right direction. In fact, this season their net rating stands at an all-time high of 100, which gives the team a winning percentage of 91.9. Smith is making huge strides in his game as a leader and one of the better players on this roster, and we can expect more from the 28-year-old after seeing him score double-figure rebounds twice in the first four games.
3) Eric Bledsoe, Washington Wizards. Washington fans will no doubt have some fond memories of the first time they saw Bledsoe pla
